About Us
History
The practice was started in the 1930’s by Alfred P Turner in Midland Bank Chambers who was later joined by Charles A Smith. The practice developed and grew over the years moving firstly to offices in Granby Street.
After some expansion in the late 1980’s the practice moved in 1993 to its purpose built offices at Royland Road in Loughborough. These offices provide a pleasant and modern working environment.
Partners
The practice is currently managed jointly by three partners, Raymond Lester, Roger Neal, and Ronald Graham. All three partners commenced their training and professional lives with the practice and together provide over 80 years experience of both the profession and business in Loughborough.
Associates
In September 2007 Richard Sims and Kieran Spiers who joined the firm as trainees and qualified as Chartered Certified Accountants with us were appointed associates.
Staff
The three partners are supported by a dedicated and professional team of 14 staff who are committed to giving the best service to our clients.
Client Information
Clients are kept appraised of current issues in tax or accounting by means of meetings with partners or staff, client seminars, budget updates and newsletters.
Client Base
The client base is diverse ranging from personal clients and small businesses to larger businesses. The majority of these are located in or around the Loughborough area but through growth, acquisition and relocation of clients the base now extends across the entire country.

We are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in the conduct of audit work and investment business.
To provide up to date information and services to our clients in an extremely fast changing world we are committed to the training of our team.
We are a recognised training office for the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and currently have Certified and Accounting Technician trainees.
We are also full members of the Mercia Training Group who provide the continuing professional training for all members of the team.

Technology
The practice benefits from being fully computer networked and utilises the latest accounts production and taxation software.
Our technology support extends to clients and has been primarily through bureau services. Through our membership of the Sage Accountants Club we can supply, install and support bookkeeping systems for clients.
